Wars in general

Why do we fight in the first place? Ever wondered about that? I did and I still do. It’s as if we found solace in arguments, peace in confrontation and joy in other’s misery. And honestly, I am no different from any other person...

I fight and I argue as well. I find those confrontations stimulating for my mind, my knowledge my sanity. But then again I am talking about constructive arguing, if there is such a thing, and fighting for what’s right. Or at least what I think is right but anyway the point is that no matter how I put it, I am a fighter too.

I find that you can always win an argument when it is logical, but nowadays, who understands logic? We are in an age of total confusion; we have advanced in science faster then we can actually comprehend it, we find it more important to play with genetics (cloning, etc.) than finance medical researchers for actual cures and throughout all the facts of society, we see two separate groups one who defines itself by religious faith and the other by scientific faith. This in my point of view and it’s all too real to me, I see people arguing about the existence of an almighty and then assume on whether actions should be taken in the name of said almighty and they call it “spreading the word”. Those doubting its existence do the same and call it “human’s evolution”. To both this is I what I have to say: “WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH YOU PEOPLE?”
Seriously don’t you all have better things to do than to be at each other’s throat? Simple as it is that as human being we have a need to believe in something greater then ourselves, whether it is a supreme being or the scientific explanation of our evolution. Does it really matter what our neighbour thinks in these matters? Shouldn’t we worry more about what the world is becoming? I mean since the dawn of time we have had people dying of starvation, diseases, crime and war. Shouldn’t we find a way to mend those issues?  Of course not, we thrive in confrontations!

Funny thing about those two separate groups thou is that no matter how much they confront each other, they need one another. Those who start wars in the name of an almighty (religious wars) actually use scientific advancement to the success of their plan. Chemical bombs are now in use against other human beings and other tools of destruction and despair. And after all this ugliness they then require the medical knowledge to help healing the injured. Again all in the name of an almighty! But the irony is that no matter who attacks first, the opposing group still use one another, either through the warfare or the restoring to health.

In conclusion no matter what the amount of resentment we may have for one another, the end result is that we complete each other whether we like it or not. So why fight in the first place?

To quote Gene Roddenberry:

“The strength of a civilization is not measured by its ability to fight wars, but rather by its ability to prevent them.”

So instead of all this fucking arguing on whether or not there is an almighty, use your fucking head and apply your knowledge to good use by fixing the existing problems rather than creating new ones!
